Go to the Delta Montreal Hotel. It's good. I've been there. I went there a long time ago. It was good. I liked it. You will! I know you will! It's good. It's a four-star hotel. I love it! Yeah! |

If you have a car, the answer is to get out of the downtown area. Like all major cities, downtown hotels are very pricey. Without a car, your options are much more limited. My own favourite is the Holiday Inn at Longueuil. It's a 10-minute drive from the east end of downtown, 15 minutes to the west end. Free parking. Atrium interior, decent size indoor pool and hot tub, reasonably priced restaurant. Other good restaurants a 5 minute drive away in the old town area of Longueuil. The hotel is right beside the freeway, so easy to find and get in and out of it. |

Hmm, well speaking from a montrealer herself, I'd say DEFINETLY downtown. I'd suggest the hilton, the ritz, the sheraton, etc. |

If you're looking for cheap like 60$ a night, the Sheraton, Ritz and even Delta are going to be a strain on your budget. I suggest checking out real-time prices at tourism Quebec's website (they offer a booking service free of charge and often have better rates than if you phoned the hotel itself). That said, there are quite a few up St Urbain and St Laurent street. |
