we gave Celine to the Americans a long time ago. Go ahead and ask anyone, they'll tell you the same thing. THe pros are National health care. Lower crime rate, nicer people, poutine, molson canadian and the Toronto Maple Leafs even though they are stinking it up this year. The cons are higher taxes, F'ing cold and it's really F'ing cold.

I am an American living in Canada, and I love it here!!

Pros:
Cleaner, safer living in general.
Smaller population (about 1/10 of U.S.)
National health care (it's available to all residents)
Lower Crime Rate
Gun Control
More liberal and higher tolerance
Multi-cultured
People tend to be polite (don't confuse this with friendly!)

Cons:
Higher cost of living (than US)
National Health Care (Waiting times and quality of care)
People are very reserved

Here is the Immigration website, so you can see all that is involved with moving to Canada.

I guess that depends from where you are,and which part of Canada you want to go to.If you like fast pa the and city life go to Toronto, Vancouver,...the big cities.if you like a more quiet and lay ed back life go to the east coast.i moved here 20 years ago, from Europe haven't found cons yet. I'm a happy camper here in Canada

The difference is negligable.

The west coast is the best. warmer than the rest of Canada, mountains, ocean, forests.

P.A.M.
Depends where you are form. If you are from a sandy, warm desert like climate area you probably shouldn't come here as it is very cold.

If you are from anywhere else, give it a shot, you might like it.

Dilyan
Pros: Social benefits such as affordable for everyone services for rising kids, affordable services for people who need medical help, excellent for persuading school / college / university education.... and, its not so cold as you might think

Cons: Taxes, which pay for the above mentioned benefits. Tough to be approved as eligible to practice some professions - medical professions, engineering, etc

Pros - Canadians are pretty laid back.
Cons - Canadians are pretty laid back.

But seriously, Canadians are pretty laid back, but blame the US or the french for all their woes.

Free health care, the rest of the world likes us.
