Goddess Princess Minky

What can all of you tell me about Canada in December?

My mom & I are going to Niagra Falls, Canada around Christmas. I've been there many times before, but the last time I was there I was under-age to go to the casino, & that's all my step-dad wanted to do, so I stayed in the hotel room. The times before that I was too young to remember going to Canada.
Additional Details
Do I need a passport or anything like that. I know I need me birth certificate.

If you live in upstate New York, you'll be fine crossing with just your driver's license, but I would take your passport anyway, just to be safe.

Niagara is lovely in the winter. Chances are it won't be frozen over in December though. It doesn't generally really freeze until late January.

It's a real tourist trap type town though. So if you want to do lots of amusement type museum things, like Ripley's museum and wax works, you won't be short of things to do. Culturally, there's really not much IN Niagara though. Toronto isn't that far away though, so you can day-trip into the city very easily and do all the sights and sounds there.

It's cold. I wouldn't go for it myself. Go when you can enjoy the falls.

It is very cold.
If you are staying until Jan 1, you better check out the new passport rules.
They change Dec 31 so everyone will need a passport to cross the boarder.
