They say the best things in life are free and they really are. You can save your money for a couple of burgers and enjoy the "entertainment" for free:

Listening to a Concert at the Toronto Music Garden: Cellist Yo-Yo Ma co-designed this serene space that's intended to evoke Bach's First Suite for Unaccompanied Cello. It's easy on the eyes, but the best time to come here is for a summertime concert. Pure bliss.

Picnicking on Centre Island: Hop on the ferry and escape to the islands. From across the water, you'll see the city in a whole new light.

Allan Gardens
The lovely Victorian style greenhouses of this conservatory house a unique botanical garden, free to the public. The conservatory provides a warm and beautiful reprieve from the winter cold or a peaceful escape from the bustle of the city at any time of year.

Harbourfront Centre
During the summer in Toronto, the Harbourfront area is alive with activity. Stroll around the area and experience live music, myriad festivals and educational camps, many of which have free admission. The walk along the waterfront is peaceful and relaxing if you would prefer to escape the commotion and enjoy the view of Lake Ontario.

Kensington Market and Spadina Avenue
With its colorful corner fruit stands, many thrift stores and pubs, Kensington Market is a meeting place for some of Toronto’s most interesting people. Each month the neighborhood blocks off the narrow streets for a Sunday afternoon festival celebrating the diversity of the area with drums, dances and music.

Riverdale Farm
Located in the midst of Toronto’s Cabbagetown in the downtown area, this 7.5 acre farm has wooded paths, flowered vegetable gardens and a number of animals, including cows, horses, donkey, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese and rabbits, which you can view for free in the barns or outdoor paddocks.

Art Gallery of Ontario
Housing over 36,000 works of art in its collection, the AGO is an excellent gallery worth visiting. You can do so for free every Wednesday evening between six and nine o’clock pm, when the museum drops its admission fee for the night.

St Lawrence Market
Now a bustling marketplace filled with vendors of delectable foods, the Victorian building that hosts the St. Lawrence Market was once home to Toronto’s City Hall. It is a great place to wander and visit, or just sit and watch people interact. The gallery on the second floor, in what once was the council chamber. Now that space hosts periodically changing exhibits of paintings, artifacts and furnishings that display the history and culture of the area. Admission to the market and the gallery are free.

Toronto Island Park
The trails, picnic areas and beaches of the Toronto Islands make them an ideal place to spend an afternoon. You may want to investigate the mysterious and perhaps macabre history of the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse, or enjoy the sun on the clothing-optional beach on the west side of Hanlan’s Point. There are a number of baseball diamonds, volleyball courts and wading pools to enjoy as well.

This depends on what your idea of a night out is.

There is cheap dining everywhere. A meal at Spring Rolls http://www.springrolls.ca/ can be less than $10. Salad King http://www.saladking.com/ and Utopia http://utopiacafe.ca/ are inexpensive. Most places in Chinatown are affordable. And sushi tends to be cheap. Steakhouses have meals for about $12. Really, you might be able to go into any restaurant and eat the less expensive food, such as a variety of appetizers.

A lot of dance clubs/bars have no cover or only $5 cover before 11 p.m., such as Funhaus, Joe, Picadilly Circus, Lee's Palace/The Dance Cave, and I can't think of others at the moment (though there are more). If you wander around the Entertainment District at night, club/bar promoters might be out and hand you a ticket for free or discounted admission to their venue. Signing up on the guestlist can get the same.

There are always free or inexpensive performances. Check out small theatres for PWYC nights. Check http://www.totix.ca/ for discounted tickets. And hey, how about just Googling for ideas?

Anny
Go to Chinatown and have dinner

GG
u can buy a $25 gift card.

or

eat at a fast food place like McDonald's with a meal as low as $5 plus tax. then go watch a Blue Jays game for as low as $2 in a value game then spend another $6 on food there and then go to Honest ed's and buy whatever you want under 10 bucks and that's roughly $25 of food, entertainment and shopping....

Likeitornot
You can go to a movie, then have a couple of pieces of pizza or visit one of the great Asian restaurants on Yonge Street like "Spring Rolls" and you can even have a beer after you walk up and down Yonge Street to see all the people who spend their Saturday night cruising around.

You can wander around the Distillery District and see the sights, stop at the chocolate shop for a special treat, have coffee at a coffee shop, and a drink in a bar.

If you want to eat, you could explore one of the neighborhoods around Bloor West Village and you would find a meal for one for $25 or less, but you might not find a lot of choice.

You could go to a movie and have treats there.

Browse in a book store, and have coffee and a snack either there, or close by. You could also get a "take out" sort of meal.

Take public transportation out of the center city area and she what is happening in the suburbs.

Best of luck.

Give it to one of the thousands of bums and derelicts that plague the streets or you can buy 2 beers.

buy 5 lolipops and amuse yourselve by sucking them the whole night lol

Honestly for $25 there is really nothing much you can do in Toronto especially go out for dinner. You could walk around the city and maybe stop in at Starbucks for a coffee and dessert but that's about it.
