First off, Canada is huge! You will notice quite a difference if you go to different provinces. We have a small population, with most of it concentrated in Ontario. However, you will also find a lot of people in Montreal Quebec, Vancouver and Victoria BC, Calgary and Edmonton Alberta, and Winnipeg Manitoba. The legal drinking age is 18 or 19 depending on which province you go to. I think that all of the provinces have outlawed smoking indoors now, if you are a smoker.

If you are coming right away, we have pretty warm weather in southern Canada between mid-May and September. October and November can go either way. Make sure that you bring some warm clothes if you are staying beyond mid September, because you never know.

There is a link below to our type of outlet.

Australia is Canada with a plus.
Because of their great weather.
they are quite similar though.

Dead Day Afternoon
Canada is very similiar to Australia except for the weather. It won't be cold now but yes the power outlets are different. I found that out when I went to Melbourne. Anyway, just relax and have fun.

If you're coming around May, it will be nice. A light jacket will work for you. I dunno what the outlets are like in Australia so I can't help you there... It depends where you are going in Canada to add more information. It's nice here though. I hope you have a great time :)

It's a Freezer of a country.

and the people are insecure about their personality.

hence, the rants and the bravado. and when the right time comes to really show what we are made of.... we choke.. (ex. The Olympics)

it's annoying eh.

Rondeau Park, located in Ontario, has the world's best wind sports, such as wind surfing and sailing. You can buy milk in a bag, that always makes me giggle. Power outlets are pretty much the same as in America, two prongs and three, but I haven't been everywhere in Canada just near Windsor and Ontario.

Personally I love Canada! lol

Not sure why everyone acts like it's freezing here all the time, we have all 4 seasons here, and the winters are cold enough that people die and the summers are hot enough that people die of heat stroke. So depending on when you will be here those coats might be a bad idea or a very good one.
A good place, well that depends on what you want to do, Toronto is fast-paced but has an active nightlife, there is always plenty to do, Montreal is very similar but it's prettier (sorry to those who live in TO, I love TO but Montreal is a prettier city). Many people in Montreal speak french and since my french sucks I found it difficult. Driving in either city is pointless, just take public transit it's faster.
I have never been to BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan,or Alberta hear wonderful things (mostly about BC though lol). Eastern provinces like PEI, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick are more rural but STUNNING, beautiful landscapes there. And the people out there are the nicest I have met in my life. This is a huge country, you can find something interesting no matter where you are.
