Every part is so different. I would say that you get the best idea of what Canadian nature is like by going to the interior of British Columbia - you get the beautiful rocky mountains along with the lakes.
Its really what you consider beautiful and unique. There is something for everyone.
(1) British Columbia coast - beautiful beaches with mountains in the background
(2) British columbia interior (ie. Kelowna) - lakes and mountains but no over populated
(3) Alberta - mountains, lakes and prairies (can combine a trip with Calgary Stampede in July)
(4) Manitoba - cheap to travel within but gorgeous lakes that are not over populated
(5) Ontario - everything you can imagine within one province but personally I love the lakes in the northern part of the province the best
(6) Quebec - really should go more for the culture (the cities are my favoritie part, the beauty of the city is great for those from newer places)
(7) Maritimes - If you have never been to the East Coast you just have to go. |

i think the prettiest canadian "state" (theyre called provinces) is either quebec or british columbia. |

Here'a previous answer...
My opinion is that each province has their pretty bits and ugly bits. Say for example, Ontario - Niagara Falls is really pretty and nice looking - much better view than the New York side. BUT, then there is a place farther north called Sudbury that was once voted as one of the ugliest in Canada.
Personally, I like Prince Edward Island. I've known a lot of people to go out east and they all liked PEI for being the cleanest. Course, lots of people I know say they'd also love to live in Nova Scotia. They love the rocky beach areas. |

They are called provinces. Each one has it's unique features...mountains, plains, lakes, rivers, seaside. They are all beautiful..it depends what you prefer. |

Canada does not have states it has Provinces. I guess it would be personal preference that would decide which province is the prettiest but myself I believe it would be British Columbia. Because of the climate which grows beautiful forests and that they border on the ocean and also the Rocky Mountains which make it a breathtakingly beautiful place. |

By far and away the prettiest province in Canada is Nova Scotia. |

Canada has provinces and territories.
I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and each different province and territory has something that which will appeal to everyone. |

provinces not states
Alberta? that Provence is one of the worlds worst polluters in the world, open pit mining for oil sands, drive over the trees, push them into a pile with all the top soil and strip the earth. Oil money frist, everything else second, it is because of alberta that we are not gonna make our koto marks.
come east, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland |
|

I think Nova Scotia is the "prettiest" province.
Someone mentioned that it's cheap? heck no. We have to get everything shipped from Ontario.. our clothing stores are often more expensive.
It's beautiful here in Nova Scotia, If you do come to Nova Scotia. Be sure to go to Cape Breton Island. |

You're a geek.. First off, it's a PROVINCE!!! Not a "State"... Second off.. BC by far!!
Come visit!! :D |

Actually we have provinces, not states. But the prettiest by far is Nova Scotia, expecially if you get up to Cape Breton during the fall. Georgous. And by the way, we are not poor. And it really isn't that cheap to live here. Go to Dalhouse for a semester, you'll know what I mean. |

No question BC is the "prettiest". you have 2 mountain ranges. Ocean. Islands all up the coast. nice weather in the summer. Desert, forest and lakes and rivers. Vancouver is an amazing city, as is Victoria which is on Vancouver Island just off to the West of the Province.
Sask is NOT the prettiest provence. there's nothing there, I don't see why someone would put that as their answer.
Alberta is okay too. but after the Rocky Mtns which are on the West of the province all you have is grasslands and mediocre cities.
Quebec has a real thriving culture, Montreal and Quebec City are great places to visit. Montreal is historic and stylish.
Ontario's alright.
the far east coast, Newfoundland, PEI, Nova Scotia etc is also very pretty, but has less to offer cause they are some of the poorest provinces. they would be nice to vist and cheap, no doubt. |
