richmond, BC is an island.... probably the only island city in Canada with so many palm trees (they plant them as roadside trees there along main drag) there not california 50 foot high palms but some are over 15 feet now.
but my vote for "island city would be Montreal as the heart is truly an island. Victoria is really just one small settlement on the edge of a huge island. |
