After living overseas for three years, I would say "Canada" is the best place on earth and I am proud to call myself "Canadian"!!!

Canada is safe, peaceful, and a great place to raise a family. Been here for 13 years now. Came as a teenager attending high school, now working full time in Ontario.

People in Canada are mostly proud yet respectful, hardworking yet life-enjoying, and determined yet fair.

Personally, I've enjoyed living in Canada.

No patriotism other than at hockey games, political correctness overkill. Everyone is welcome, no one is a foreigner. Top 5'er in Human Development Index. Beautiful country physically but no cultural unity since it represents everyone and no one at the same time...

The southpark episode that mocks Canada, sorry if this offends you but just being honest. I've never been there but I've heard lots of good things. Maybe someday I'll have a chance to.

Truly a geographically magnificent country that hasn't been as spoiled as some because it has less big manufacturing entities to pollute. From the wheatfields of the west to the beauty of the rivers/islands in the east...to the mountains in BC/Sask. area..to Vancouver and the virbrancy of Montreal...it's a country I love to visit.

Vancouver has one of the highest standards of living in the world according to Mercer. Canada is relatively small in population when compared to the United States. Canadian people are generally nicer than people from the United States. Canadian people have more fair laws (decriminalized marijuana, allow gay marriage, public heath care…). Canada also has much lower crime rates than the United States.
