If you are in the U.S. then the bacon probably comes from the U.S. since they do not allow hogs from Canada but they could allow products.
Canadian bacon is more of a cut like back bacon.

i think its from Yugoslavia but I don't know if I'm quite right on that... it comes from somewhere in that area (this is total sarcasm, in case you haven't caught on... but i guess if you're dumb enough not to know where CANADIAN bacon comes from, i guess you wouldn't know what sarcasm is, eh?)

Canadian bacon is terrible. They use belly pork and it's all fat. In the UK they have danish bacon which is meaty back bacon without much fat and tastes ten times better.
