It really depends on which area you're talking about. Places like downtown and harbour areas usually have condos. Harbour areas also have houseboats. A lot of the major streets and avenues have single family houses. If you go into some of the smaller commercial/residential areas there's likely to be apartments. A lot of times, apartments and houses are mixed around each other, so it's hard to say. And of course, like Toronto, we do have quite a few apartments over stores, where the complex is over a business.
Generally, like any other metropolitan area, our housing varies. It's hard to actually determine which is more occupied. But primarily, I'd have to say houses, since that's what I see the most of.
*And I hope Kevin is joking about the igloos, boxes and pineapple trees. First off, we don't even have pineapple trees in Canada. Secondly, "igloo" means house, so technically, everyone in the world lives in an igloo. |
