In my mind, the average Albertan is more conservative than the rest of Canada. Except for Edmonton, which is more liberal.
But I'm from Ontario, we're more educated about B.C, since we idolize it.

I'm from Edmonton and it completely depends where you go. If you go to the farms the people are very much like rednecks and like their trucks, if you go to the bigger cities they get angered a little bit easier but are still friendly. Oh and were real good with the cold.

My first thought is hicks. I went to alberta, not much going on there. Farmland everywhere, it looked pretty primitive. Everyone kept saying "You betcha".
