Only someone from Quebec would hate on Halifax. Awesome city with a great artsy scene, good bars, great restaraunts, lots of attractions in and around the city, very clean and welcoming. Big enough to feel like a city but small enough to never feel lost.

Great city with excellent attractions and weather.
The Citadel is a must.
Also do not forget the other cities nearby such as Peggy's Cove.

I kind of live in Halifax so what can I say? We are near the water, have lots of scenery, very nice downtown and waterfront, sunny weather, and historical sites.

Halifax and the nearby towns and cities are great. In fact the whole province is a great place. I have been there several times... have family there too... and I'm looking forward to going back some day.

I grew up, lived and played in Halifax (and surrounding area) for 21 years. I love the place. I now live in San Jose. I miss the lack of traffic (in comparison to here) and the beauty of the city.

Kappa Girl Jen
I live here and love it. For a small city, there is a LOT to do, really. It's not always advertised well but if you pay attention to what's advertised in the community sections of the papers you'll never be bored.

I love this whole province. ;) Come visit NS! You'll have a great time no matter what you like to do.
