We're not always trying to be the best, we just try to live our lives.
We're not as fake as the American culture.
And even though we are simply the best, we don't throw it in other peoples faces like some people...cough...americans...cough...
Oh, and we don't invade other countries just cuz we feel like it.

The Kitten in Clothes
Ok admittedly I am Australian, but I do live in Canada.

I like how Canada is a peaceful place. You can feel it in the streets, in the culture, in the people. They aren't trying to be America and they don't want to be.

It is a very easy place to live and is sooo similar to Australia (aside from the weather!)

I would definitely recommend it as a living destination

I like the look on people's faces when I show them my Canadian passport abroad :) They treat you like crap until they find out you're not American!

If I were American, I'd be terrified to leave my country at this point.

Why is it restricted to CANADIANS only ???

I live in Canada !

Best thing : lol and will get 100 TDs..Canada seeks brainy people and people with money from abroad where they lack expects in many fields. Lots of immigrants from abroad surpass the natives and are far more educated and end up getting the best jobs.

I live in Canada ! Most are not THAT smart. Immigrants from China , Asia, Europe etc achieve most usually. Not all the time...though....but many immigrants have far more education than born and bred Canadians.

Watch out for the chinese, korean ( asian people), Indian, Russian, East Europeans, Europeans...they surpass Canadians.

Lol Mei Mei : Canada is not that different than the US. Canada is so strongly influenced by its neighbour down there. Only people who have visited other continents can judge. When I arrived here I used British terms ( from the UK) and people did not understand me....

Janet : lol.....you are not allowed to answer ...you are not Canadian either :-)

But to answer your question @ the asker : I like the fact that I do not have to worry about forgetting to lock my door ..but then I live in a "nice" neighbourhood.

I like all the good we have brought to the world.

What I like the most about Canada, our country..
We are the gentle giant.
If the world were to come an end tomorrow, we would still survive because we own all the freshwater and lush boreal forest in the world.
We are the #1 supplier of oil to our neighbors and nobody even knows it.
We are the world's best kept secret.
We are on the right side of the Atlantic, in a strategic position, being able to see the world from the inside out.
Hollywood's best comedians are Canadian.
Our English is clear sounding.
We are rich in natural resources.
That a Canadian is usually a nice, easy going, laid back person.
That Canada is viewed as the ambassador of the world.
That Canada is rich, free, big, and beautiful.

I love the fact that I am free & can say or do almost any thing within the laws of my country
I love our friendly people ok we have a few miserable ones but what country does not ?
we have great places to go British Columbia,
to way up north to ski country
out east to the east coast & eat seafood.
our beer is the best too
we also have great food here & great entertainment

I like the fact that we are essentially running a huge portion of the world, energy-wise. The main reason why the U.S. became such a powerful country is because they are buying cheaper Canadian resources, and now we're rich. Also, China, India, and various European countries are turning to us as a sort of economic ally against the U.S., to avoid sending more of their money to the USA. They are trying to form more business partnerships with us than the Americans.

Also, there seems to be a trend that has occurred for decades, regarding wars. Any country, including the U.S., that has had a war against Canada, has traditionally lost. The closest Canada has ever come to losing was the Korean War, which ended in a tie. However, Canadian troops are in Afghanistan, and that looks like it will probably be a loss for us.

While I'm on that subject I would like to point out two things:

A - Canada was in both world wars long before the USA was.

B - The nuclear bombs for Nagasaki and Hiroshima used Canadian uranium, so in a way, Canada won WWII.
