In the USA we think Canada is funny, but no one here can really tell you why. We also think that all Canadians are really friendly. Some Americans aren't so bright, and think that all Canadians speak French.
I also always think of the Second City skit staring Mike Myers called "The war of 1812." It is funny; Mike Myer says "Canada is closed" and he wont Americans into Canada.
