Hmmmm, that is a hard question to answer. It all depends on what you are looking for. Each area has its own charm. BC - Beautiful interior, the ocean, the mountains... what not to love. Alberta - just gorgeous. The Prairies - charm personified. Ontario - Too much to name here. Quebec - old world charm to the fullest. The Maritimes - breathtaking. I have travelled all over this country and love it all.

Canadian
If you like weather, go to BC.

If you like flat plains with no hills, go to the middle provinces.

If you like money, go to Alberta.

If you like grain, go to any province west of Ontario and east of BC.

If you like machines and industry, go to Ontario.

If you like tourism and "old skool" things (like redcoats eh), go to Quebec.

I think the best part about Canada is the people and the great small towns - I would love to tell you about Canada!

I came here from England in the 1970's and it has been a great place to raise my family - the people are nice and friendly.

I have travelled to the west coast of Canada, BC, which is absolutely breathtaking, but my favourite place is right here in Southern Ontario. We are close to the beaches of Lake Huron and Lake Erie, which are two of the 5 Great Lakes, which contain 55% of all the fresh water in the world.

We get cold, crisp winters and hot, sunny summers, autumn is spectacular because of all the fabulous fall colours and spring is beautiful here!

We get snow here, usually just before Christmas (yipee - snowmobiling!), the snow lasts until the end of February or early March, then spring. Summer is June, July, August and early September which can get real hot. Autumn here is late September, October and by November it has turned cooler again

In summer it is hot enough to swim and water ski, go fishing and hike in the woods, go camping - Canadians like outdoor activities.

You can find out more about this area if you like from this site - it has lots of info. http://www.discover-southern-ontario.com Check out the "Communities" pages to find out about the small towns and cities, "Favourite Villages" for info on the pretty fishing villages in the area, there is even a section about the climate here and the local Nature and Wildlife!
