I LOVE CANADA AND CANADIANS!!! You are really friendly, helpful and nice people. Very welcoming and receptive with people from different cultures. I really love your awesome, clean, lovely and pacific (in comparison with Mexico) cities like Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec. I fell in love with all the awesome views of your woods in autumm... You rock!!! |

If you are looking for opinions from Non-Canadians, I hope you posted this question in the general travel section as well so more Non-Canadians can see it.
As a Canadian I think we are decent people, we probably seem boring compared to our neighbour and I think we tend to be a tad paranoid about how others perceive us. |

Canada is like the friendly neighbour everyone wants to have. We have a beautiful, varying countryside from one end to the other.
Our healthcare is something many other countries are jealous of.
We are severely funny people, producing men like Mike Meyers, Jim Carrey and many more. Our women are beautiful! Many beautiful actresses these days are Canadian. We have participated in all major warms but have still managed to play a friendlier role than the U.S. as we are never on the offensive but simply helping out. We keep out allegiance to the British Crown but still stay independent as a nation. Other countries see us as friendly people. The Americans think we are the useless people upstairs. Every American I have ever spoken to has thought very little of Canada even though they rely on us for a lot of their natural imports. Most of them have never even heard of Toronto, can you imagine that? Being Canadian is a funny thing. Depending where you live you probably speak both French and English fluently and we are indeed known as the most multicultural country in the world, Toronto especially. We are a melting pot of different groups. O Canada...too much? |

Canada is known for its multiculturalism. You may already know a fair bit about the Canadian way of life, especially if you have friends and family in Canada.Canada is the second largest country in the world in terms of physical size, but nowhere near the top in terms of population.Canadians have a lot of freedom when it comes to working. From owning your own business to working part time or full time,.. |

From England, lived in Canada for many years. I find Canadians to be generally arrogant and ignorant. Just take a look around the Canada section of Yahoo Answers and see all the ironically aggressive posts by Canadians bragging about national humility. |

Canadians think of themselves as wonderful polite people, but people from outside see them as the brit above says, as arrogant and ignorant. I have spoken to many who say that west coast canadians in particular are very aggressive as well.
Don't blame me. This is the opinion I have heard from many foreigners from different countries. |
