pelon, are you trying to immigrate to canada or visit canada?
if it is just a visit, just go there, you dont need a visa.
if you want to immigrate, you have several options:
- go there as a student
- go there as a skilled worker (with arranged empolyment)
- go there as a skilled worker (without arranged empolyment)
- go there as a political refugee
- go there as an entrepeneur or investor
A cousin of my wife was kidnapped here in Mexico, and after she was released, she applied as a refugee and got accepted rather quickly.
Another girl I know who by the time was a single mom, applied for a special single parent program, and not only did she got accepted... she received money from the government to pay for the nanny while she took her english courses (also paid by the government)
Myself, I have applied for the skilled worker program. I applied last year, and after 18 months my application has just been processed. Now I need to have a medical exam and a letter of no criminal record, afterwards I would need to go to see a canadian immigration officer in canada and have a second medical examination in canada... after that, they validate my permanent residence, and I would need to spend 2 of the following 5 years to keep it.
