A postal code in Canada is like a zipcode in the US. It's for sorting mail.

http://www.crtc.gc.ca/dcs/eng/glossary.htm - here's an answer from this link.
"They are codes used by postal services to divide large geographic areas into discrete zones in order to simplify delivery. In Canada, postal codes are six-character strings structured in the alphanumeric format Letter/Number/Letter; full space; Number/Letter/Number—for example, A1A 1A1"

Good luck! =)

It routes the package to the correct destination, CA has a letter/number system, probably for different provinces, counties, cities, etc..

It is like a zip code. It consist of 6 digits, example X3X 3X3. The last 3 digits make the code specific to a few houses on a street within a city. It assists in getting mail to its destination. I don't believe this is a real postal code, but this is the format they follow.

ocelot
its the same as a zip code, its a number, primarily used in mailing to help designate the location.
