If you get caught by the bouncer of owner of the club, you will be escorted out. However, if an undercover police officer catches you with it, you will be charged. If you are also drinking alcohol at the same time, the club will also be charged for serving minors. |

I have lived here all my life in Montreal and have never seen anyone carded in a bar or club unless you are ridiculously underage no one cares here the attitude is if you think you are old enough to drink then you most likely are.
Also the drinking age here is 18 so if you are say 16 and look like a modern 16 no one will question you.
And if it does happen being caught you just wont be let in but I have never heard of it happening.

Montreal is one of the nicest cities and I wouldn't worry about fake IDs there. All they would do is escort you to the door and do it with kindness. I think you could get in and not have to worry about the legal drinking age. Just dress well and look great. You'll have a ball. Tell the guy at the door you want to learn to speak French and you'll have an friend right away. Flirt, flirt and flirt somemore. |
