Peace. Depends where you go too. In Europe we are famous and well received by one and all because of our outstanding contribution to the war effort of WWII. Every time I mentioned where I was from when I was in Europe, I was treated like a war hero myself even though I was not born until after the war. I was taken to places where the old folks had been rescued by Canadian forces and told of their experiences and love for Canada and Canadians. Kind makes you feel proud! |
