I think you mean "you know HOW Dulce De Leche is the famous Spanish thing"? and that you're referring to foodstuff, specifically.

In any case, maple syrup, poutine, spruce beer.

When you mentioned dulce de leche, I thought about maple syrup and sugar shacks in Quebec.

The only thing I can think of that is remotely like "Dulce de Leche" would be la tire d'érable - hot condensed maple syrup poured on clean snow and eaten with a stick.
