Every location in Canada fills your requirements. You can go just outside of any major city and find quiet.
Vancouver mountains and ocean
Toronto forests and farming
Sudbury forests and wilderness
The lists are endless you need to be more specific

The whole country is beautiful . And an hour drive outside any city you can find quiet that is so quiet it hurts your ears.

LOL, that is a tough question. There are numerous places that are absolutely beautiful in Canada. I think you may have to be more specific.

The Eastern Townships in Quebec are beautiful. Lakes, mountains, fields, bike trails - everything you want in nature yet most of the villages/towns are within an hour or 2 from Montreal and 2 to 3 hours from Quebec City. There is also public transportation to the cities. I've lived here for 20 years and even though I've had the chance to return to the US, I wouldn't move for anything. Check out the villages of Sutton, Knowleton, Lake Brome, North Hatley, Georgeville for starters. Although Quebec is predominantly French-speaking, English is spoken regularly in the Townships.

everywhere is beautiful but if you move to an eastern province you will experience freezing cold winters...so think about the climate as well when you make your choice!

petey
if u want just east of Manitoba..then I'd say Lake Superior...
