I am going to canada and might look for jobs. when I apply in canada, i have to collect my work permit from the Point of entry. What is this:??

im coming from uk and landing at vancouver airport.

so to get my work permit i have to go the vancouver airport? thats weird.?

If you are arriving at Vancouver Airport they have Immigration officers that can process your work permit. Some land border and airports don't have immigration officers that can process work permits so as long as you are flying into YVR (Vancouver) you are fine.

It's the place where you enter Canada. If you drive, it's the border crossing. If you fly, it would be when you go through customs at the airport.
