It's called a postal code. The format is letter-number-letter space number-letter-number.

Each major city begins with a letter such as V for Victoria and Vancouver. Then we have T which of course is for two (Edmonton and Calgary) And it makes even less sense when we get to Toronto which starts with M.

Besides Canadian never get mail anyway since they all live in Igloos.

M5P 1H1

That's one I send to a lot. It's in the city of Toronto, the state of Ontario

It is actually called a postal code, as far as I know zip codes are only in the US. 2 that I can think of off the top of my head:

S7L 1K1
S7L 2N7
Saskatoon, SK

We don't have zip codes we have postal codes.
It consists of letter number letter - number letter number. Each province starts with a different letter. every street has 2 one for the even side of the street and one for the odd side
I live in Medicine Hat Alberta Canada mine is T1B 2K6 So you can track me down to this street....

Letter-number-letter (space) number-letter-number. Letters are capitalised.

A=newfoundland
B=Nova Scotia
C=PEI
G and H for Quebec
etc.

thats how most candadian men find wives. by using the zip code on all the layers of clothing. if they are unzipped they can really tell how fat she is. hence we have the canadian zip code.

crazybethey
Canada doesn't have zip codes, we have postal codes and they are different in every province (letter, #, letter, #, letter, #)
