The employment situation in Canada is not good. Just wanting to come to Canada isn't enough either. What education, skills and experience do you have that would make Canadian companies want to hire you? We are already working through close to 1,000,000 applications and that takes a lot of time. When you consider that we only accept about 250,000 new immigrants each year, I think you will see that any application you submit will take close to 4 years to work through.
Of course, all of that depends entirely on whether you even qualify to come here in the first place. Canada doesn't take just anyone, despite what some others may think. I would strongly advise you to look through http://www.cic.gc.ca and read the whole site very carefully. There is a self-assessment quiz you can take to see if you would be acceptable to come here. The minimum score is 67. |
