As a Brit who has visited Canada many times I can honestly tell you it is my favourite country on Earth to visit. One sterotype thats not true is that its always cold, every time Ive been to Vancouver the weather has been hot and sunny at worst overcast. The people are so freindly and the landscape especially British Columbia is breath taking. If theres one place to see before you die its Canada.

it is hard to describe in a few words how Gorgeous Canada is :)

Very, very, very nice. Canadians tend to be much more polite than most Americans. Canadians are also very welcoming and tolerant of American tourists.

The Northern half of North America....

Too diverse to really pinpoint what it is "like" here. Really depends where you go. Varied landscapes, weather, people, cultures, economies.

If you took Europe all West of Russia, and made it into one country... and say that country only had 33 million people.... with alot more watersheds, boreal forests, and a generally colder climate...... and then make that country have 2 dominant cultures (one much moreso than the other)..... you would essentially have what is Canada.

It's cold. You'll have no idea how complicated your everyday activities become simply because of the weather.

Canada is a great neoliberal society. Free health care, little governent interference in business or vice versa. Canada was the first country to legalize gay marrige. Unions have powerful influence here with minimal corruption. People make very decent wages probably better than in the USA. It nice and cold. People are freindly and a little more quiet than Americans. The county is huge, but only 33 million people.
