For your information,there is no such thing as national costume in Canada.About the languages,English and French are the official languages of all federal government institutions in Canada. This means that the public has the right to communicate with, and receive services from, federal government institutions in either English or French and that federal government employees have the right to work in the official language of their choice in designated bilingual regions.The Canadian federal government is also committed to advancing the equality of status and use of the English and French languages within Canadian society and provides support to the development of English and French linguistic minority communities. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms spells out language rights in Canada and the Official Languages Act specifies the obligations of Canadian federal government institutions.

Canada's two official languages are English and French

National symbols , the use of the maple leaf as a Canadian symbol dates back to the early 18th century and is depicted on its current and previous flags, the penny, and on the coat of arms.

Other prominent symbols include the beaver, Canada goose, common loon, the Crown, and the RCMP.

There is no national costume. The closest thing to a traditional Canadian costume might be Aboriginal buckskin outfit worn traditionally by Native Canadians.

Languages: French and English.

French and English

Well in Canada the majority speaks English, a little bit of French helps, when theyre mixed together it become Franglais, Then you get into some backwards ones in New Brunswick like Chiac, yuck.

Anyways, depending where you are in Canada there is no official "costume" I recommend no nudity though it could get you a fine, also most people frown when seeing the American flag, so don't wrap that around yourself, unless you like to dabble in S&M...^_^;;

There is no national costume of Canada. It is a multicultural nation, like the U.S.

The two official languages are English and French, but in large urban centres several languages are spoken, with Mandarin, Hindu, Greek, Italian etc. gaining prominence.
