I'm a Torontonian so I'm partial to Toronto, but Vancouver is also really nice.
Calgary is great if you want to live in the suburbs, other than that I'd avoid it.
I'd avoid Waterloo, its where i'm living now and its downtown area is really expensive, i guess in an attempt to avoid the large student crowd. |

As a Calgarian, I might be a little biased, but Calgary has the best job market in Canada. Just like anywhere in Canada, it can get hot in the summer and the winters are fairly long and chilly (though not always snowy), but temperatures are rarely extreme. The only downside is that the cost of living is fairly high, but getting lower (see sources). Hope this helps =) |
