Depends on what you want to do. If you want a cosmopolitan, outdoor oriented province, then you're looking at BC. If you want a busy, work-centered province, that's Ontario. If you want the lure of history and the spell of the sea, it's the Maritimes. If you want the open spaces, then Manitoba or Saskatchewan are for you. And if you want the pseudo-Texan atmosphere, head for Alberta. |

Canada is one of the most regionally diverse places you will ever go,to answer would be impossible. I have lived in every province and one of the three territories and each and every one has its unique intrigue. but if it is the violence that concerns you I have to point out that as soon as there are two people there is potential for violence regardless where you are, what is the point and what do you need to know about a place before you go. Is it the economy, the history, the climate, the culture, the geography, the isolation, the wide open spaces.what what what ? help me here what are you looking for then I can help you. Quebec city is celebrating a birth day, I believe its 400th, its an amazing city. the gaspe in PQ is some of the most awesome and picturesqe places in the world. There are little trasures like that all over, and will provide you with memories for a life time. At the end of the day a city is a city is city. but some stand out more than others. Cape Breton Island seems that it floated away from Scotland and ended up on our east coast. I could go on for ever but suffice to say there is something here for every body and everbody is welcome |
