There is a small airport at Hinton - called Jasper-Hinton. Some Charter flights take off and leave from here and you can get from here to the major airports of Edmonton or Calgary.

The closest major airport to the best of my knowledge would probably be in Edmonton.

Edmonton airport would be the closest one.

As the answerer before me said Jasper-Hinton is the closest airport of any kind in that area, however the Edmonton airport (much smaller than Calgary) and Calgary International airport (more destinations) are you closest bets. I do overall recommend the Calgary airport do to the fact that it does fly to many more places than Edmonton's airport. Now if you are flying too a close Canadian city (such as Vancouver) then Edmonton would be just as good.

Now where are you flying? t would help me choose the more accurate airport for you to use.

Happy flying!!!,
Ronnie :-)

Edmonton. Jasper would be a 4 hour drive.

Edmonton is the closest major airport, though it's over 200 miles away. Better start driving =P.
