The Canadian dollar, otherwise known as the loonie.

ACACRIS
I will give you a break. It is a dollar. Same breakdown as the US
Pennies , nickels, dimes quarters but now the dollar is a golden coloured coin affectionately Called a "loony" because of the Loon "bird" on the back . Along came the two dollar coin and for some reason everyone started calling it a "Toonie"
Some slang hip talk if you will , the one hundred is brown in color, you guessed it. "Brownie"
$5 blue $10 purple$20 green $50 pink and $100 brown and the !000. deleted was a darker purple than the ten.

Don't mind the rude answers . Some people think everyone is from the U.S and should know thses things , well I have just made them a little smarter too.

It's called the Canadian Dollar

The currency for Canada is the dollar, the same as for the US, New Zealand, and Australia. It is further broken down into:

Penny which equals 1/100th of a dollar

Nickel which equals 5 Pennies

Dime which equals 2 Nickels or 10 Pennies

Quarter which equals 25 Pennies

The Half dollar or 50 Cent Piece which is rarely found or used however it is legal tender. It is worth 50 Pennies or 1/2 of a dollar.

One dollar (coin only): Called the "Loonie" after the fact that the Loon was on the obverse (tail) of the first set of 1 Dollar Coins issued.

Denominations larger than 1 Dollar are:

2 Dollar Coin: Called a Toonie (after the Loonie)

5 Dollar Bill

10 Dollar Bill

20 dollar Bill

50 Dollar Bill (some stores will not accept this denomination over concerns regarding counterfeiting.)

100 Dollar Bill (some stores will not accept this denomination over concerns regarding counterfeiting)
