Well I don't know because a lot of our pop culture in Canada is from the States, and all our most popular Canadian singers, actors etc. are also popular in the States and all over the world. There are lots of things about Canadian culture that are not so well known in the States, but they're not exactly "pop" either. It depends how you define pop I guess.

There's not much difference, what there is would me mostly in music tastes and local talent. Otherwise it's the same.

Other than hockey factor... none! I mean we all seems to be the same when it comes to pop culture... (music, movies, etc)

Well, as "pop culture" is short for Popular Culture, its all about what is most popular. As Canada and the US share the same land mass, our Pop Culture is pretty much a shared thing.

The only difference that I've ever noticed is that Canadian radio stations play a more bizarre mix of music on the radio. I've been told it's due to laws stating that a certain percentage of music has to be Canadian. So you hear more Alanis Morissette, Rush, and Celine Dion on the radio. Also a lot of Canadian hockey references are lost on us Americans.

Other than that, there isn't much of a difference.

There are more famous American pop stars. The only Canadian one I can think of is Celine Dion.
