Yeah freedom is the same on either side of the border. Currency exchange, health care, politics are some of the differences.

Canadians are known for maple syrup, hockey, and saying "Eh?" a lot.

Americans are known for their right to sue anyone for anything, apple pie, and big gas guzzling cars,

Basically there are no differences. Both Canadians and Americans think that they are the best in the world .....and so do the Europeans, Soviets, Chinese, Japanese, and Antarcticans. LOL
Canada has 1/10th the population, could be 1/15th now, (we love sex but don't seem to procreate as quickly). Canadian winters are cold,(the beavers always lay in a bit more food than they need).Naturally the coast provinces are the warmest so they get snow or rain even. Cabin fever takes hold of most females just after Christmas which is why the snowbirds came into existance. The men learned early on that the way to get rid of the fever was to export it to the Carribian or Southern States for a few weeks in the winter. We don't have the same number of tourists comming north to experience our winter season. We do have lots of minor variances. but few that stand alone.

pipe2d..............Ontario steaks are the best, eh!!!!

The are not many differences between Canada and the USA. Only the money and that Quebec speaks french. Other than that there are the same freedoms and things that both countries enjoy.

i go to Canada 4 times a year and the only big difference Ive noticed is beer and cigarettes are alot more expensive and the steaks in the u.s. are alot better than in Canada

Canada actually has more rights and freedoms in many important areas. Health care and social services top the list. My niece got her master's degree in social services and substance abuse councilling in the US, and was appalled to find how few resources in both were available there. The lack of free health care is an obvious difference.

And our traditional role as peacekeepers has been sadly eroded by American militarism.
