I would recommend it. I've always had fun when I've gone out in Toronto.

The drinking age in Toronto is 19. They do have a smoking ban now. But most bars and clubs allow you to go out and smoke and re-enter without a problem. As for actual places to go there are lots of options between clubs, pubs and lounges. There is a club district - Richmond St. & Adelaide St. That area is loaded with clubs and bars, so you can always hop around in that area.

Websites to check out for ideas are:

Legal drinking age in Canada is 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec; 19 elsewhere. No minimum age to drink in private with a parent/guardian. Drinking age is often overlooked if drinking in private settings. Legal drinking age legislation falls under provincial jurisdiction.

I heard it's a great country, so go for it!

Anywhere in Ontario Canada it is 19 years old. If you go to Quebec it is 18. College kids? Yeah come have a great time! You can easily bar hop or pick one and stay there all night.

Drinking age in Toronto is 19, just like the rest of Canada. I live here and i'd totally recomend it to a group of college kids from America.. it's beautiful and a lot of fun. Especially if you like the night-life.♥

BEETLE
It either 19 or 21.
If you want a really awsome place to go, go to Montreal. Drinking age is 18 and there are so many bars, clubs and street festivals, you'll wanna be here for an extra couple weeks!
Oh and the ladies here are the most beautiful in the world....this is what i heard form various polls....

come on over, have the best time of your life!

Goddess of Grammar
19, and no I'd recommend Montreal (drinking age is 18) because the bars stay open till 3 (1 in Toronto).

You can't smoke in bars in either place anymore, if I'm not mistaken.

The legal age in Toronto is 19. It used to be known as Toronto the Good, because it closed everything up on Sundays, but things have changed a great deal since them. Sure -- it would be a great experierce for a group of college kids from America. Lots to see and do outside of the bars. Check out the CN tower as well!
