What is the legal drinking age in Canada? Are there any restrictions for foreigners?
18 in some provinces, but 19 in most of them. No restrictions, juz proof of age thru ID.

In Saskatchewan the Legal Drinking age is 19.
In Alberta the legal Drinking age is 18.
In the Yukon the legal Drinking age is 19.
There are no restrictions that I am aware of that would prohibit foreigners from drinking.
A final Data point. I've never been carded in any of those three provinces. But it could happen at anytime. You need proof of age at all times when you are drinking.
I am vaguely aware of the liquor laws in Europe. In Europe I think the age matters on where and who you buy the alcohol from. In Canada no one under the above ages can ever legally drink alcohol. No matter if a parent buys it for their kid (I had a number of Germans come into my restaurant and do this), or if the alcohol is bought in a offsales location, it is *always* illegal for people under the above ages to drink.
