Rana: Being Canadian is totally different from being American. The vast Majority of Canucks completely understand your political system, economy and economic premise. On the other hand, Americans do not understand that the majority of US debt/trade imbalance and energy supply is from your "hick cousins"from the North. You should be more informed and more careful. Well, I know that the Head of State in Canada is the British Monarch (currently Queen Elizabeth II) and that the Prime Minister is the Head of Government. Does Canada have a Governor-General to represent royal authority, as some Commonwealth countries do?
