What is the speed limit between Detroit and Niagara Falls, Canada?

The speed limit is 100 km/h. That's taking the 401 and then the 403 into Niagara. However, if you drive 100 km/h, you will not only piss off other drivers, but will probably be a hazard to the road. I am not saying drive 150 km/h+...but you will notice that most people drive 120 km/h on the 401...especially in that stretch, with many doing 130-140. On the 403, it's reasonable to be doing 110.

Travel HQ Services,
100 mph on highways dude

100 km = 60mph

Chigga is correct, and I know said not to go 50 over, but just in case...

If you're caught going 50+ over the speed limit, police can issue roadside seven-day licence suspensions and impound vehicles for a week. If convicted, excessive speeders could face fines ranging from $2,000 to $10,000. It is an automatic summons, meaning you must appear in court, you can't just pay the ticket and be done with it. I'm not sure how this relates to American drivers, but be safe!

Chigga is right, the speed limit is 100 but you will find most people averaging around 115-120. Cops usually won't give tickets unless you're going over 115-120, because there are still people going faster than you!

I once made it from Niagara Falls to Windsor in 3 1/2 hours going 125, just to give you an idea. But I left at 5am on New Years day, so there were like 2 other cars on the road! If you get into Hamilton/Burlington between 4:30pm - 6pm, expect a LOT of traffic on the 403 and QEW.

I don't know about the speed limit but it takes about 5 hours from Detroit to Niagara Falls.

On a four lane, such as 401 or the QEW it would generally be 100 kmph which would work out to roughly 65 mph in USA measurements. This is based on my personal experience on the QEW and having a dual scale speedometer in my vehicle which gives the speed in both miles per hour and kilometers per hour.
