Boy that's a huge question for big, big country There's lots of Skiing in British Columbia (west) Winter carnival in Quebec city, West Edmonton Mall In Edmonton used to be the largest mall in the world, don't know if it still is or not. If you like solitude drive out to the prairies and feel like your driving at the north pole, wind, blowing snow, cold,. If you want to wait until Spring, the prairies in bloom are an awesome sight as is every other part of the country. In a week-end, you'll probably spend most of your time driving up here so you can turn around and be back for work on Monday ( I have no clue where you live, remember) |

Depends on where you're going in Canada. It's a damn big country. I live in the northeast so a weekend in Canada would mean Montreal. Awesome restaurants, amazing shopping, the Notre Dame cathedral, the botanical garden, an opportunity to practice my French, poutines...worth it if that's what Canada means to you! |

well i used to live in NY just over the boarder from Canada. When i was 19 and 20, the fact that we could drink there was pretty cool.
be aware that they just passed the legislation that you now need a passport to go over the boarder. this is totally new.
but other fun things up there:
Niagara Falls - the view from Canada is totally better than the view from NY
the casinos
Toronto
Canada's Wonderland is a great theme park if you're into that |
