If you are visiting Toronto from another country, aside from its basic tourist attractions (City Hall, Queen's Park, CN Tower, Casa Loma, Hockey Hall of Fame, Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Ontario Museum, the Harbourfront, the Theater) what makes the city unique is its multiculturalism. Accordingly, to get a real feel for the City, you may want to get yourself a TTC day pass for $8.50 and travel to different parts of the city. There is a Little Italy, a Greek town, a Chinatown, Little Portugal and a Korea town amongst a wide variety of others. Pick up some information about what kind of cultural events are happening at www.toronto.com and check them out. Definitely be sure to eat at good restaurants in each area. Nightlife in Toronto is particularly good in the Entertainment District downtown (Richmond / John St. area). And as for getting to Niagara Falls, you would probably want to take a bus from the downtown (Bay St. / Dundas St.). There are several with daily schedules. |

Toronto has tons to do, Blue Jays Games if your into sports, theres the hockey hall of fame. Theres lots of shops and clubs for the night scene as well. You shouldn't have a hard time finding something to do. Theres a bus terminal downtown that will probably have buses to Niagra Falls |

Bus is the most likely form of public transportation to get you there, but it won't be a city bus. You would have to take a coachline bus cause Niagra really isn't that close to Toronto. There is lots to see in Toronto depending on what you are in to. Musicals at the Royal Alexander, Museums like the Royal Ontario Museum or the Art Galary of Ontario, the Metro Toronto Zoo, The CN Tower, SKydome, and Jays games, Casa Loma, Queens Park if you are into political sites to see, a Toronto Island, plus all the night spots. Relax and have fun. |
