That's a difficult question as there are a few.

I know it's not popular, but I would say the CN Tower. It's not that I totally love it or anything, but I really don't see Toronto as being Toronto without it. I honestly can say that I doubt I would have lived in Toronto if there was no tower. Then it would really come across to me as a bland city. What? No world's tallest tower? Then it's just a big city without character. English Canada has Vancouver, French Canada Quebec and Montreal. Toronto wouldn't cut it.

That being said,... The St. Lawrence Market is kind of cool. I like the uneven floors and the mysterious basement.

The flatiron isn't that great. There are better ones in Vancouver or New York or other cities. I can see some people picking that though.

Union Station would be way up there for me. I think it's a temple. The railroads are what brought Canada together, and that is THE railway station of all Canadian railway stations. I love the interior, how spacious it is.

The ROM's looking good with the new extention. Maybe some people hate it. I think it's pretty amazing.

The U. of T. has some nice buildings if you're in that particular mood.

There are a couple of amazing buildings going up in Mississauga, I believe somewhere around Hurontario and Dundas. They look like they'll be quite striking, and possibly the coolest buildings around.

Good question.

I love the First Canadian Place (aka "Bank of Montrael building").

It's really sleek and powerful looking, nice 70's design. 41th tallest in the world! Not bad!

Personally I am always fascinated with the BCE Place. The futuristic architecture and the old bank building within the lobby. It truly is an amazing place.
