harry k - have you looked at some of the insults Americans toss at canadians on yahoo answers ..I guess when an American insults a canadian they don't make you laugh because you feel it is their liberty to insult other countries....!!!!!! YOU MAKE ME LAUGH!!!

I see your IM is called antiyankee, and the Y!name is now "ole man is back" which means you were probably kicked out of the Yahoo! Answers once before for your antagonistic questions, answers, or personal attacks.

With questions like this, I'm sure it won't be long before we see "ole man is back...again" username tag here.

The Canadian economy is aided quite a bit by the proximity to USA, and as a Canadian, I have to say that I respect the American people, even if I do not like or agree with their government's policies.

Too sad to see people can't disagree but still respect each other's differences.

ANY citizen from ANY country will do that, not just the Americans. They're our next door neighbours, and they've helped our economy over the years by coming here and spending their money, where money wasn't before. I find that any tourist, from any country to any country, is a good tourist. As long as they follow the laws of the country, and are respectable, why shouldn't they be allowed to visit another country?

I think we need to get along. Canada is a major supplier of oil, gas, refined products, wood, food, wheat etc to the US, the trade imbalance is about a billion $ per day. America is the strongest country in North America. Canada's entire population is less than California, yet our economic clout is significant. We really need to get along!!!

get a life. americans are fine. except for the ignorant ones like harry k., i would welcome them all to canada. some canadians are rude and ignorant, some americans are rude and ignorant. some canadians are polite and welcoming, some americans are polite and welcoming. you and harry k. should go find a deserted island somewhere so you can battle it out for the title of most ignorant north american. leave the rest of us to enjoy our lovely countries peacefully.

They are essential to British Columbia's tourism industry. They have always settled here and brought property. Why should people here dislike them?

You Canadians make me laugh. Talk about the ugly American, it seems Canadians are really the ignorant brute's of the world.

Sure we can leave you alone, but if we do you will die. 75% of the Canadian economy would dissapear. Do you really want to be plunged into an ecomic crisis?
