110volt two pin type, the same as the USA. Camcorders etc from the UK will run on a dual voltage (for charging batteries etc), but just check before you do so.. Take adapters with you, as from experience i had difficulty locating one once i arrived in downtown Toronto...

It's the other way around to the UK, so where the UK is 1 at the top and 2 at the bottom, Canada is 2 at the top and one at the bottom.. but you can't just turn the plugs upside down, buy an adapter :)

Opus
Electric? Same as USA.

Canada has the same plugs as America. My husband and i go all the time because we are in North Dakota. So, canada is just like America except the peoples speech is a little different and in the winter it is cold (just like ND) and snowing all the time. But Canada is just the same here as in looks.....and the outlet plugs are still the same :) Good luck if you are planning on traveling. It's a s*it loads of fun........
