depends what season you like. If you want to be very busy then come in the summer as there is non stop festivals. We are famous for the jazz festival, fireworks competition which involves many countries from around the world. We have the Just for Laughs festival. Which is comedy acts, stand up and others. And a film festival in August. If however, you like fall colors then come in fall. We have amazing things to do in the winter but of course it gets very very cold. Can't help you with getting here from where you live. Perhaps someone can :)

I would say to come in the winter because there are many things to do and sights to see in the winter. Mount Royal park is great in the winter, you can go skating, tobaggoning or snowshoeing. the ski hills are not to far away and if you don't ski, you can go tubing. The city is very pretty in the winter time especially at night with all the lite up streets...very cozy

To get here, just take the transcanada highway
