Well, see what you can do in your neighborhood to make money. Can you do odd jobs for seniors? How about babysitting? Are there opportunities at your own house? Have you talked to your parents about what you could do to make money? Do you have lots of stuff in your room that you no longer use that you could sell in a yard sale? Those are some things you could consider. Best of luck with it, but your parents are probably your best source of ideas as they know what is possible in your area.

$630 is a lot of money to be able to make in a few months, don't you agree?

Looks like you parents and/or other relatives might have to help you on that one!

Ever thought of selling stuff online - like on eBay for example?

Do you have anything to sell worth buying?

I would not get your hopes up too high. :(

At fourteen, you are unlikely to be admitted on a plane or to cross the US-Canada border without either having adult supervision, or a note from your parents stating that someone will be meeting you on the other end and will be responsible for you while you are out of the country.

But if you do somehow get authorization, one thing you could do is be admitted to Canada as part of a working vacation program. You could be hired to work on a farm or ranch or some other Canadian business that needs temporary help.

That would let you come to Canada, earn money while you are here, see parts of our country, and perhaps make a few new friends.

If a working vacation is not your thing, there are summer camps that will accept international kids to their programs, you just have to find one and see how much they cost. You parents may pay for that if they know you are going to a place that is controlled and supervised.

Other than that, I am sure you will get one or two creeps telling you a few ways to earn $1000 in just a few days, but I doubt any would be legal either in USA or in Canada!

well your 14, no offence meant by this, but you have to be 16 or accompanied by an 18 year old to travel like that, at least if your planning on coming through canada, legally at least, hitch hiking is a different story but I don't reccomend it unless you plan on losing your virginity to a trucker on the 401 or something of that nature

Also, it would help if you mentioned what country your starting in.

If you want to make money real fast and you can claim your adventure as a good cause, ie. Cancer, your grandma is dieing, you have an incurable disease, world record etc, than try getting donations

You could always make good money online for completion of paid surveys. Several sites offer very good pay for completion of online surveys. I hope the following page provides very optimistic information in this regard.
