if you are coming to my town Montreal :D you may want to check out the bio dome also don't worry about speaking french everyone here speaks English as well as french for the most part. as well as going to see the MONTREAL CANADIANS KICK BUTT! also don't forget to try spruce beer (its a soda only in quebec) also try Poutine you will never eat french frys the same way again. you can go skying as well as snowboarding. go up north to the sugar shack for making your own maple syrup and candies. humm theres a few more but can't think of it at the moment lol. |

WHAT ?
What part of Canada are you going to?
IF its Quebec, then yes, the main language is French,
but IF its out of Quebec, then English is the main language.
Regardless where you go in Canada in December or January, wear warm clothes ! |
|

?????
 |
The main language is not french. Unless you are going to Quebec. Canada is huge. You'll get more answers if you specify where in Canada you are going to. |

Where are you going in Canada. It is a huge country.
The main language is NOT French. Where did you pick that up? French is one of Canada's official languages but it is largely concentrated in the province of Quebec and parts of New Brunswick. English is spoken nearly EVERYWHERE (including Quebec).
Here is a government of Canada site on tourism filled with links that will take you to useful information:
http://geo.international.gc.ca/can-am/main/tourism/default-en.asp
Don't forget to check this site: theweathernetwork.com
to check on weather where you are going. It is winter here. |

Ok first Canada's main language is not French it's English. We have a bilingual country so we have 2 official languages but in most parts of the country English is their first language..
Second it depends on where you are going and for how long.
Maybe do some research or ask your travel agent. |

Bonhomme Carnaval! It's one of the biggest carnivals of all in Quebec !
It is so much fun ! There is dog sledding competitions , an ice hotel ,ice sculptures , sleigh rides , snow rafting , many snow sculptures , downhill skiing , bistro and much much more !!!
I would also visit Montreal there they speak english.
Omg but seriously there's no point of going to Quebec without visiting the Bohnomme Carnaval.

You could do just about anything except lay on the beach. Since it's winter skiing or drinking are a good option. Pick up a Lonely Planet travel guide. In Montreal people will speak English to you, outside of Montreal they may not. |
