Even in USA, you have time zones. So saying "In America" is not too accurate. You meant "Here in California..." I believe, if I calculate the time and the number of hours that elapsed since I am answering.

So the answers for 7 hrs ago from Canada could be:

...In America it would be many different times. There is like a 5 hour time difference between one side of canada and the other. Time Zones.
