Excellent answers so far!

Need I say more?

Be sure to check out downtown Montreal, the Old Montreal, Chinatown, Sainte-Catherine and Saint-Denis Streets, Saint-Laurent Boulevard as well as La Ronde-Six Flags located on Île Sainte-Hélène/Parc Jean-Drapeau and its amazing International Fireworks competition!

If you're in Montreal in June and/or July, try and catch at least one of the summer festivals such as Just For laughs or The International Jazz Festival for example - The International Film Festival is held in August.

In any event, have fun in my mesmerizing hometown!

P.S. As far as Quebec City is concerned, they will be celebrating their 400th anniversary this summer so there should be plenty of outdoors activities for the whole family to enjoy!

The distance from Montreal to Quebec City?

See for yourself!

Hope all this helps!

From New York City, it takes about 6 hours to get to Montreal. In Montreal you have to go to Olympic Park. In Olympic Park, you have to go to the Biodome and the Botanical Gardens with the butterfly exhibit. Also at Olympic Park is the Insectarium if you want to look at bugs. At the Biodome, you should take the Funiculaire which is like an elevator, except it is outside and it shows you a great view. In Montreal, you should stay at Square Philipps. It is a very personal hotel with large rooms, however, it isnt in Old Montreal. You should see the Museum of Modern Art. It is a very contemperary museum. The Biosphere is also a place you should visit. It is a very cool place. You need to go to the Montreal Science Museum. It is very interactive and fun and it is good for people of all ages... even if they are adults. You should also check out the Underground City. In Old Montreal, there are many nice restaurants that are reasonably priced. Santos is a very modern restaurants that has like a tapas menu. The food is very good. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to get from Montreal to Quebec City. In Quebec City, you have to stay in Old Quebec. The Lower City has many nice stores and places to go. You need to go to the Sweet Shop. In the Upper City, you should find the Chocolate Museum. It is a small store, but in one room it shows how the candies are being made and in the other room, they sell candy, ice cream, and many other things. You need to try the Espresso hot chocolate. It doesnt have coffee in it, but it is very chocolatey. It takes about 9 hours to get from Quebec City to New York City. There are lots of things to do. Have Fun!!!
