What to do in Toronto?

Me and my mum are thinking of going on Saturday, and just wondered if it's a good vacation. I've been told it's quite boring - No offence intended - But I don't belive that.

What is there to do in Toronto? And what do you love doing when you're there? Is it expensive?

there are tones of things to do that can be inexpensive there are even some things not too far outside of the city that u can visit.
Canada's Wonderland
Toronto Zoo
CN Tower
Rogers Center (sky dome) for a game or concert there are cheap seats available
shopping at the Eatons Center
Royal Ontario Museum (has events for kids and adults)
Ontario Place
Exhibition (last 2 weeks in August won't be on when your comming but interesting to check out)
Casa Loma (has events for kids and adults)
Medival Times
there are also some dinner theaters around
go to Wards Island for a day (if kids are comming thats a good place to take them)
Kensington Market has some neat shops and boutiques
lots of plays and theaters to see if your into that
High Park and there's a small zoo inside it
lots of local events and some are free too. just check out citytv.com, ctv.com and toronto.com

dancing queen
go to the top of the CN tower.
take a tour of the blue jays stadium
chill out in cabbage town
shop in the mall
take a helicopter ride over niagra falls
go over the peace bridge to goat island, usa for lunch.......

.......these are all the things that i did when i went to toronto. it may be a little boring, but it is clean and i've never felt safer, unlike London, or even Birmingham UK which is where I'm from!

There is a TON of shopping a TON of restaurants, lots of stuff to see CN tower etc, go see a medieval times show.. Unfortunately YES Toronto is very expensive..

Miss P
It is actually very boring.

The problem is that all of the so-called attractions are not interesting. For example, the ROM, from what I've heard, currently has a very sparse and poor collection and once you've been to the Science Centre, there's no point coming back unless you want to watch an IMAX movie. The CN Tower is, well, just a tower.
I would recommend going to America- there is so much more to do there.

If you absolutely must go to Toronto, visit the Mt. Pleasant Cemetary- it's beautiful, picturesque and has some really old and grand tombstones.
