What to do with one day in Toronto?
I will be in downtown Toronto the afternoon of December 5th and the morning of December 6th. I already have plans for Wednesday evening, but given the limited time remaining what else should I see and where to eat breakfast and lunch?
Go to Yonge Street which is close to many attractions in Toronto, including street 'n theatre performances, the Eaton Centre, Dundas Square, the Hockey Hall of Fame and–at the very start of the road–'One Yonge Street' There are numerous fast food restaurants in the Eaton Centre

I've recently been to Canada and went into Toronto for the day. I would recommend going up the CN Tower if the weather is good (well, if it's clear so you can see the view from the top). I also went on an open top bus and boat tour - although I was there in the summer so perhaps they don't run in the winter. If you like shopping, go to the Eaton Centre - it's a HUGE shopping centre! Take a look on the internet for recommendations and enjoy!

Go up the CNN Tower and see the whole of Toronto, go to the lake and enjoy the scenery - there are also cafes and entertainers along the lakefront - and check out any little cafe you see around. I recommend a trip to Little Portugal - you go there by tram - because the coffee and pastry shops are perfect. You could look around Chinatown too for some unusual and low-priced souvenirs.
