What would be a good name for someone living in Canada?

We were laughing about southern names, Jim Bob and Billy Rae,
what would be some common names for people living in Canada.
I live in the south.

Sorry no hillbilly names in Canada. You should come to Canada for a visit, help dispel some of the American myths about Canada.

We have a lot of Jasons, Andrews, Jeremys, Dustins, Angelas, Stephanies, Melissas, not as many Madisons, Montannas etc as the US, in fact I don't know of any and last year there were a lot of baby boys named Ryder in the city I live in.

Canada doesn't have anything as characteristic in the way of names as those southern double names. The only thing I can think of is names which are a mix of two different nationalities. I always think they sound a bit funny, but they're more common than they used to be so maybe they're not so odd any more. The French-speaking provinces produce names which are part French and part Irish or Scottish, like Angus Tremblay or Jean-Claude O'Connell.

Who is this Richard dude? He is trolling the entire Canadian forums. An American riding Canada's jock.

If there is a distinctly Canadian male name, then it would be "Murray". I have read repeatedly that Canadian men are more likely to be named "Murray" than men in any other country.
